Even at first glance, the AMG GT Black Series is once again in a completely different category: the Panamericana-inspired front grille is bigger, wider and meaner than on the more mundane GT models.
Carbon fiber is used on a grand scale - among other things for the front hood, the roof, the tailgate, and the front and rear aprons. The hood is perforated with large air outlets.
Aggressively drawn body
The extensive aero package includes an adjustable front splitter and an adjustable rear wing. The aggressively styled body is accentuated by the ultra-wide track and black alloy wheels mounted on 285/35 ZR19 Michelin Pilot Cup 2 R MO front tires and 335/30 ZR20 rear tires.
The show continues in the interior with extreme sports seats, a microfiber steering wheel, and microfiber door and instrument trim. The non-slip material underscores the racing aspirations of the AMG GT Black Series.
Driving characteristics like in motor sports
The structure is stiffened at the front and rear with carbon fiber elements to further improve handling. Camber and stabilizers can be manually adjusted on both the front and rear axles - a typical Black Series element.
Ceramic brakes and brake pads and discs straight from motorsport further enhance the track properties.
From zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds
Maximum power is 730 hp, available from 6700 to 6900 rpm. Maximum torque is 800 Nm and is available on a plateau from 2000 to 6000 rpm.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a dual-clutch automatic with seven gears. The result: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a full 3.2 seconds and a top speed of a proud 325 km/h.
