The name change refers to the traditionally close relationship with the C-Class, with which the roadster shares many elements of its technology. Both the sporty top model Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 and the entry-level variant SLC 180 are new.
Extensively refined and with a model range from the powerful and economical SLC 250 d to the performance athlete Mercedes-AMG SLC 43, the SLC is ideally equipped for every requirement. The SLC 250 d, SLC 300 and SLC 43 come with the sporty and comfortable 9G-TRONIC torque converter automatic transmission as standard, while it is available as an option for the new 156-hp SLC 180 and for the SLC 200.
