Under extreme conditions, the MC20 shows that it optimally combines racing genes and everyday characteristics.

Maserati's new MC20 supercar is currently undergoing a series of reliability tests on the road and on the racetrack.

Under different driving conditions, it has to pass intensive test drives also on the snow-covered roads of the Valtellina and on the Ghiacciodromo Livigno, Italy's most famous snow and ice track.

Cryogenic tests of the elastic parts
During cold-weather use, the Bolide was tested for the cold-starting behavior of the engine, the low-temperature performance of the elastic components and the handling of the vehicle on cold and slippery asphalt surfaces.

The test drives are also carried out to check the correct functioning of the air conditioning system under these conditions. In addition, the battery, the wheel suspensions and the brakes have to prove themselves in the cold.
