In order to meet the needs of recruitment, the Auto Gewerbe Verband Schweiz (AGVS) is offering its members specialist support in cooperation with Manpower from June 2019. AGVS members can benefit from the HR experts with various services.
A company's team is one of the most important factors contributing to the success of a garage business. Therefore, when searching for and recruiting potential employees, care should be taken to ensure that they are selected thoroughly and appropriately.
Finding a suitable applicant with whom you can make long-term plans has become even more difficult in times of the "war for talent" and the changing automotive industry.
Various service packages
Manpower offers AGVS members three different service packages, ranging from the advertisement to the implementation of the entire application process. Manpower is constantly developing customized solutions to optimally meet the complex needs of garage owners in a constantly changing world of work.
In order to meet the quality of special customer requirements, orders are coordinated by two specialized contact persons from the Manpower Automotive head office. Special attention is paid to the local needs of garage owners.
To make the process as uncomplicated as possible, garage owners have one contact person per language region, who relies on the support of Manpower's more than 40 local locations.
Pool is an important recruitment channel
In order to improve recruitment in the automotive industry, a pool of garage owners is being set up in collaboration with AGVS and Manpower. The pool is characterized by the fact that talents are included in a database in the form of pre-selected profiles. This creates an important recruitment channel that focuses on specialists from the automotive industry.
