Actually, the maximum towing capacity of a Land Rover Discovery Sport is 2.5 tons - more than enough for most towing jobs with boat, caravan or horse trailers. However, Land Rover shows what the compact SUV is really capable of in a spectacular test on rails. To do so, the Discovery Sport takes an enormous load on its hook: three luxury rail cars that together weigh more than 100 tons - 58 times the curb weight or the takeoff weight of a Boeing 757.
