Sensational projects at Bugatti
Over the past three years, Stephan Winkelmann has been able to initiate and drive forward sensational projects at Bugatti.

Never before has Bugatti presented so many different and unique projects in such a short time, such as the Divo, La Voiture Noire, Centodieci, Chiron Pur Sport, Chiron Super Sport and 300+2 hyper sports cars.

In addition, Bugatti set a speed record last year that is still valid today, and with the Divo, Bugatti is transforming modern coachbuilding into the 21st century.

Chairman of the Board of Fiat Switzerland
Before Stephan Winkelmann joined the Italian sports car manufacturer in 2005, he was, among other things, Chairman of the Board of Fiat Austria, Switzerland and Germany. In March 2016, the 56-year-old initially moved to Quattro GmbH (now Audi Sport GmbH), which he headed as Managing Director for two years. Stephan Winkelmann has been President of Bugatti since January 2018.

Leading manufacturer of super sports cars
Lamborghini is familiar territory for Stephan Winkelmann. Until 2016, he headed the fortunes of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. in Sant` Agata Bolognese, Italy, as President and CEO for over eleven years.

In these roles, Stephan Winkelmann built the brand into one of the world's leading manufacturers of super sports cars and was responsible for significant investments in the company's future. Under his leadership, Lamborghini experienced a rapid rise: sales figures more than doubled, turnover more than tripled.

This was achieved thanks to the success of the Lamborghini Aventador and Huracán supercars. The launch of the best-selling Urus was still decided under Stephan Winkelmann.
