Optimization of the ecological footprint
The aim of the Eco-Challenge is to optimize the ecological footprint of the DXP delivery vehicle. Kyburz provides a used DXP as well as information about the construction and raw materials used.

The participants develop ideas on how to optimize the ecological footprint of the DXP. They develop a study or proof of feasibility by means of a report and/or with prototypes. The optimizations of the vehicle can concern the manufacturing, the drive, the construction, the use or the recycling of the DXP.

Imagination and its creative implementation
The aim of the Open Challenge is to create something special from used DXP vehicles. What is required is imagination and creative implementation for a creative use of the models.

Kyburz will provide the applicants with up to three used DXP. Evaluation criteria are originality, execution, functionality and presentation. The nominated creations will be presented live at the Circular Economy Symposium 2021 on September 3. Applications are due by April 12.

The jury consists of experts from the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI). The winners, who will be announced at the Circular Economy Symposium, can expect prize money totaling up to 16,000 Swiss francs.
