KW Automotive: Coilover suspension optimizes the 911
MORE DRIVING FUN For the Porsche 911 of the current 992 series - with or without front axle lift system - the Variant 4 coilover suspension from KW Automotive is now available with new tuning options.
The suspension manufacturer KW Automotive offers one of the largest ranges of height and damper characteristic adjustable sports and coilover suspensions for all Porsche 911 models, including all air-cooled Porsche 911s and other Porsche models.
More driving dynamics and rolling comfort
The KW Variant 4 coilover suspension is now available for the Porsche 911 of the 992 series. With its three-way adjustable dampers, this gives the sports car a plus in driving dynamics combined with sporty ride comfort. On undulating surfaces, the Variant 4 suspension damps harmoniously and prevents unsteady handling. Any pitching and rolling movements of the body are significantly reduced.
Particularly suitable for sports cars and racers
The three-way valve technology of the Variant 4 is based on KW suspension developments for the original equipment of sports cars and GT3 racing.
Brand Manager Jonas Ehrmann: "Relying on a three-way adjustable valve technology for coilover suspensions gives us new possibilities in suspension design. To a certain extent, the adjustable compression stage influences the plunging speed of the damper piston rod. The compression stage also influences the pitch and roll movements of the body as well as the steering behavior."
Parts certificate enables stepless lowering
The adjustable low-speed rebound stage influences the working speed when the piston rod extends. It controls how quickly the suspension spring relaxes back to its initial position. The parts certificate allows a stepless lowering of 20 to 35 millimeters on the front axle and 15 to 35 millimeters on the rear axle. The KW coilover suspension Variant 4 is available at a catalog price of 6560 Swiss francs.
