Kungs: Eco snow broom with ice scraper

For the Finns, caring for nature has always been an integral part of their philosophy of life. Increasing consumer interest in environmental issues also means increasing demands in terms of materials such as recycled plastics. This is why the Finnish company Kungs has developed the Kungs Green sustainability range. Their best-selling product, a whisk with ice scraper, is now also available in an eco-friendly version.
Perfect properties for bristles
The handles of these whisks are made from 70 percent recycled plastic, while the bristles are made from 100 percent recycled PET, which is obtained from water bottles. The flexible and slippery PET has the perfect properties for bristles. The scraper is made of 100 percent recycled polycarbonate, which is produced from surplus materials from the pharmaceutical industry.
"We have used the maximum possible proportion of recycled plastic here to continue to ensure the high frost resistance of Kungs winter products. This allows us to maintain our usual quality standard and provide a three-year guarantee," says Export Director Du-Le Niemi.
The products in the Kungs Green series are available from Migros at prices of CHF 12.90 (whisk with ice scraper Max-Is) and CHF 6.50 (ice scraper Mid-Is).
