The best-selling Sprinter will of course also be on show with its densely staggered model range, which includes 3t to 5.5t gross vehicle weight. At the show, for example, visitors can examine the Sprinter 314 CDI with a factory-fitted sprayer. Above all, customers who travel in weight-sensitive areas must be able to rely on their emergency vehicle. This applies in particular to the construction industry and municipal vehicles. The optional selectable all-wheel drive is recommended for all those who have to travel off the beaten track or frequently have to deal with difficult operating conditions.
Vito also with all-wheel drive
For freight or passenger transport in difficult conditions, the manufacturer also recommends the Vito with 4×4 all-wheel drive. With its combination of increased traction, improved driving stability and the latest generation of ESP, it is convincing even in adverse weather and road conditions, according to the manufacturer. Mercedes-Benz Switzerland is showing both the Vito 114 CDI panel van with 4×4 and the 111 CDI Tourer Pro in Bern.
Citan with new engines
One size category below that is the Citan. According to the supplier, the engines have impressive fuel consumption of 4.3 l/100 km and meet the Euro 6 emissions standard thanks to BlueEfficiency technology. There is a choice of diesel engines in power ratings from 55 kW/75 hp to 81 kW/110 hp and a gasoline engine with 84 kW/114 hp. The Citan is available as a panel van, as an extra-long Mixto for transporting goods and passengers, and as an estate.
