Kia: Test the new Kia Niro
WHERE TO MEET As a Swiss premiere, Kia is presenting the new Niro at a roadshow. The model is presented in six cities. With the second generation, Kia is continuing the model's success story.
On site, interested customers can experience the second generation of the Kia Niro crossover during a first test drive. The Niro Roadshow will stop at the following locations:
- July 22, 2022 Zurich, Stadelhofen train station
- July 23, 2022 Lugano, Piazza Castello
- July 30, 2022 Lausanne, Flon
- 05. August 2022 Bern, middle Waisenhausplatz
- August 13, 2022 Basel, Meret-Oppenheim-Platz
- August 19, 2022 Lucerne, Archway
Electrified drives as desired
With three different electrified powertrains as full hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and an all-electric variant, the new Niro covers the entire spectrum. According to the factory, the Niro EV offers a range of up to 463 kilometers (according to WLTP) suitable for long distances.
Headliner consists of old wallpaper
Sustainability is also a top priority in the interior: the headliner, for example, is made from recycled wallpaper material, and bio-polyurethane (bio-PU) with Tencel made from eucalyptus leaves is used for the seats.
The Niro's equipment includes an autonomous emergency braking system including pedestrian and bicycle detection, adaptive cruise control including speed limiter and stop & go function, lane departure warning and lane departure warning.
