Juice Technology: Mobile Wallbox for Daimler
STERNSTUNDE Swiss company Juice Technology AG, known as a manufacturer of mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is offering its mobile wallbox as a white-label product throughout Europe via Daimler's after-sales distribution channels.
Juice Technology AG's expertise as a manufacturer of mobile charging stations for EVs is confirmed time and again. Now the Juice Booster 2, which prevailed over other competitors' products in a tender process, has been accepted by Daimler's accessories division Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions.
Christoph Erni, founder and CEO of Juice, said, "For Juice as an emerging company, the addition of our globally popular Juice Booster 2 to the premium brand's official distribution channels is further validation of its efforts to date."
Tailor-made offer for fleets
The items in the after-sales range are carefully selected to meet the high demands of customers. The Juice Booster 2 is the first and so far only mobile wallbox available immediately for all dealers and end customers.
With the appropriate adjustments in terms of brand, it is fully tailored to the customer's requirements. The leasing and fleet management provider Athlon, a subsidiary of Daimler, is already working with Juice on the charging infrastructure. In the process, a customized offer for fleet operators has been created to make the electrification of vehicle fleets attractive.
Charging at conventional sockets
With the adapters of the Juice Booster 2, the electric car can be charged at any conventional household and industrial socket - even connections of public charging stations can be used. The charger is always set to the optimum charging power.
Overloading of sockets is ruled out. When the plug registers a possible overheating, it passes a signal to the charging station, which can then shut down the charge in a controlled manner.
The 22 kW booster is TÜV-Süd approved. In the Pro version, it has interchangeable adapters on the vehicle side.
