Anniversary: Panolin AG opens its doors

In 1949, Bernhard Lämmle laid the foundations for the successful, family-run lubricant producer by entering it in the commercial register. Panolin AG started out as a trading company in Schaan, Liechtenstein. In 1966, the company moved to Madetswil and started its own production. To this day, 95% of all lubricants are produced in the Zurich Oberland.

Pioneers
The company began exporting engine and hydraulic oils as early as 1973. A few years and product innovations later, Panolin launched its first environmentally friendly hydraulic fluids. To this day, the company is considered a pioneer and specialist in environmentally friendly lubricants.

Panolin has grown steadily over the years, which has necessitated various expansions to the company infrastructure. Most recently with the new office building, which was occupied in December 2017. Today, the Panolin Group employs 90 people of its own; around 400 people work in the company's distribution network worldwide.

Open Day on August 24
On Saturday, August 24, Panolin will open its doors to the public and all interested parties. Visitors can discover "The World of Oil". They can also enjoy various delicacies at the diverse food stands and explore the attractions on the festival grounds (ideal for children too).

Arriving by public transport is easy, the post bus stops directly in front of the company premises. If you arrive by car, there are signposted parking spaces available.

The final party takes place on Saturday evening. The region's first Oktoberfest takes place at the Panolin-Wiesn in Madetswil from 5 pm. However, you can only enjoy the beer, tasty Oktoberfest delicacies and live music if you reserve a place in advance.
