The new F-Pace was the main contributor to the best annual result in Jaguar's history, with 765 sales.

Remarkable: Jaguar was able to increase its Swiss sales by 108% to 1642 vehicles compared with the previous year, more than doubling the number of units. This sensational increase was achieved thanks to a modern model range with advanced aluminum architecture and the latest all-wheel drive technology. However, the main driver was the new Jaguar F-Pace with 765 sales. The figures for the XE sports sedan (337) and the XF mid-size business sedan (339) were equally encouraging, as was the F-Type sports car with 181 units.

Land Rover recorded a total of 3816 units, a decrease of -1.3% compared with 2015. The slight decrease compared to the previous year is due on the one hand to the discontinuation of production of the Defender and on the other hand to the phase-out of the previous Discovery - the new Discovery will be launched on the Swiss market at the end of March. Over 900 vehicles were sold in Switzerland in the Defender's final sales year of 2015. Behind the Range Rover Evoque (1206 units), other successful models include the Discovery Sport (1103 units sold) and the Range Rover Sport (706 units) and Range Rover (300).

Worldwide, Jaguar Land Rover also closed 2016 with its best sales performance ever (20 percent more than in the previous year) thanks to 583,313 vehicles sold. This marks the seventh consecutive year of annual sales growth for Jaguar Land Rover.

The new Discovery, which will be launched at the end of March, is expected to send Land Rover's numbers soaring.
