Technologies monitor the mood
At the heart of Jaguar Land Rover's new mood recognition system are a camera pointed at the driver's seat and biometric sensor technology. Thanks to these technologies, the pilot's mood is constantly monitored and assessed based on facial expressions.
If facial expressions change, the system automatically adjusts various vehicle settings, such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning, media settings or interior lighting. This is intended to reduce stress levels at the wheel - after all, studies have shown that 74 percent of all people feel stressed every day.
Day feel stressed or overworked.
Rear passengers can sleep better Jaguar Land Rover is also researching and testing similar technologies for rear-seat passengers. They are tracked by a camera in the headrest. If there are signs of fatigue, the system could dim the interior lights, darken the rear windows, or make the rear seat a little warmer - making it easier for rear passengers to fall asleep.
