Corsa-e Rally
The Opel Corsa-e Rally produces 100 kW (136 hp) with a maximum torque of 260 Nm.

The ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup is to start next year. With the new racing series, Opel and ADAC are continuing their partnership: In recent years, the ADAC Opel Rally Cup has given talented drivers an entry platform into rallying. The fastest drivers were able to show their skills internationally in the ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team. The new Opel Corsa-e replaces the Adam.

First electric rally car
Opel CEO Michael Lohscheller: "The Corsa-e is the electric car for everyone - fully suitable for everyday use and absolutely affordable. Attributes that also and especially count in motorsports. On top of that, the new Corsa is easy to drive and particularly dynamic. Based on the production vehicle, we have developed an all-electric rally car - the first manufacturer in the world to do so."

Rally casting for talented pilots
The ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup will initially be held as part of the German Rally Championship and other events. The one-make cup is scheduled to start in the summer of 2020, with at least eight rounds forming the so-called Super Season until 2021.
Part of the concept is a development pyramid that includes the relaunch of the ADAC Opel Rally Academy held in 2016 as the first stage. The rally casting will lead talented participants directly into the ADAC Opel Rally Cup.

Corsa-e Rally
Initially, 15 Opel Corsa-e Rally cars will be built in Rüsselsheim for the 2020/2021 season.

Entry price under 55 000 francs
The Opel Corsa-e Rally is currently undergoing production development in Rüsselsheim, with an initial 15 units planned for the 2020/2021 season. According to Opel Motorsport, the vehicle price is to be "well below 55,000 Swiss francs." The Opel Corsa-e Rally has an output of 100 kW (136 hp). The energy for the drive is supplied by a 50 kWh battery.

Complete equipment ex works
Equipment for the Opel Corsa-e Rally includes a rally chassis, 4-piston brake caliper with internally ventilated brake discs, brake control specially adapted to recuperation, hydraulic fly-off handbrake, lightweight bodyshell, welded safety cage, underride protection for engine and transmission, fire extinguishing system, dry battery, quick-release fasteners for hood and tailgate, and towing straps.
World premiere of the Opel Corsa-e Rally will be at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt (public days from September 12 to 22).
