The new generation of the Opel Corsa, the Grandland X hybrid and the new Opel Astra will make their debut in the halls of Messe Frankfurt. The Opel Corsa will not only be presented as a fuel-efficient classic combustion engine, but also for the first time as a battery-electric variant with a purely electric range of up to 330 kilometers.
Grandland X as a plug-in hybrid
The second world premiere is the new Grandland X Hybrid4 with all-wheel drive. The plug-in hybrid combines the power from a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine and two electric motors, providing a system output of up to 300 hp. According to the factory, fuel consumption is 1.6 liters per 100 kilometers with CO2 emissions of 37 g/km.
Almost everything new on the Astra
The third newcomer in the line-up is the new Opel Astra. With optimized aerodynamics, a completely new generation of engines and the likewise newly developed transmissions, the Astra five-door and Sports Tourer set standards in terms of efficiency and low emissions.
Compared with its predecessor, CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 21 percent (Astra five-door 1.2 Direct Injection Turbo with 130 hp and up to 101 g/km).
Zafira Life with more comfort
What began with the first generation in 1999 is being continued exactly 20 years later with a completely redeveloped fourth model generation: The Zafira Life comes in three vehicle lengths, with space for up to nine people as well as comfort for the discerning and helpful assistance systems.
