Compact athlete
Thanks to the completely newly developed 1.8-liter turbo gasoline engine in the Megane R.S. (205 kW/280 hp), the new model offers enhanced driving performance. The compact sports car features "4Control" dynamic all-wheel steering, which is designed to enable high cornering speeds and maximum steering precision. In addition to the six-speed manual transmission, the EDC dual-clutch transmission is also available for the first time.
Renault on film
From today until September 17, it's "Film ab" for the 13th time for the Festival du Film Français d'Helvétie in Biel - for the first time with an extension towards Bern. As official vehicle partner, Renault has supported the FFFH since its beginnings. Directors, actors and guests of honor will experience the "Passion for Life" this year in the form of the Renault Espace as a shuttle vehicle.
Environmental bonus
The manufacturer is also responding to the current diesel debate by offering an environmental bonus of up to CHF 6200 when an older model is traded in. This will be granted from September 1 in Switzerland for diesel passenger cars of all brands that comply with the Euro 1 to Euro 4 emissions standard. Customers who purchase a new, 100 percent electrically powered ZOE or Kangoo Z.E. can expect premiums of up to 4700 francs.
