The new model comes along lighter: the kerb weight dropped by 80 to just 970 kg, while torque increased by 70 to 230 Nm.
More aggressive look
According to the supplier, the performance is underlined by an exclusive radiator grille and bumper, an aerodynamic front spoiler lip, side sills, rear diffuser and roof spoiler. The new interior focuses on accentuated details, contrasting colors on the gauges and new instruments.
More torque
The 1.4-liter gasoline engine with 103 kW/140 hp combines power with efficiency. Thanks to the new turbocharger, the engine develops high torque (max. 230 Nm) even at low engine speeds, while the small displacement and direct injection keep fuel consumption at a low level according to the manufacturer. The six-speed manual transmission has been further developed for short and crisp gear changes.
Lacquering
The exclusive "Champion Yellow" is reminiscent of the Suzuki Works rally car from the Junior World Rally Championship. A total of seven exterior colors are available, including the "Burning Red Pearl Metallic" and "Speedy Blue Metallic" shades introduced across the entire new Swift model range.
Security features
These include a distance detection system, dual-sensor active brake support (DSBS), a lane departure warning system and other technologies. The detection system in the new Swift Sport uses a combination of a monocular camera and laser sensor. While the camera has high detection performance over medium to long distances and for traffic elements such as pedestrians and lane markings, the laser sensor offers advantages at short distances and at night. While driving, the new Swift Sport uses these two sensor technologies to monitor whether there is a risk of a collision.
