Three world premieres
First and foremost at this year's IAA is the new Opel Grandland X: With its striking silhouette, top technologies, typical SUV qualities and generous space, it will be the aggressor in the booming SUV segment, according to the supplier. It will be joined by world premiere number 2, the Insignia GSi, and world premiere number 3, the Insignia Country Tourer. In addition, Opel will be showing the Vivaro Tourer, the new large-capacity Vivaro van, for the first time at the show.
Highlights en masse
Optimally equipped, the 4.48-meter-long Grandland X as the third member of Opel's X family is expected to further revitalize the SUV class and the segment. In contrast, the Insignia GSi, both as a sedan and as an estate, is a sports machine for all those who appreciate something special. The all-wheel drive with torque vectoring is unique in this segment, according to the supplier. The Insignia appearance at the IAA is completed by the new Opel Insignia Country Tourer.
Exclusive Dress
Following the announcement at the Geneva Motor Show, it's now curtains for the first Insignia in Opel Exclusive dress. With the individualization program, Insignia buyers have been able to show their colors to their heart's content for a few weeks now. There are currently 15 colors to choose from that go beyond the existing portfolio. And while the normal Insignia models come with plenty of chrome, the "High Gloss Black equipment" gives the Exclusive model that extra sporty touch with high-gloss black Opel grille clasp, window trim, exterior mirrors and much more. The matching design can then be selected from various alloy wheels. The program will be expanded in the near future.
