Change
Veljko Belamaric (left) and Youcef Benachour want to expand Hyundai's position in Switzerland.

The official Swiss importer of Hyundai passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Dietlikon now belongs to Bersan Automotive Switzerland AG, a company of the Spanish group Bergé Auto (AutoSprintCH reported).
The change of ownership of Hyundai Suisse is accompanied by clear objectives, with the focus on a continuous but significant increase in sales and the expansion of services for customers.

Many years of experience in the car business
Veljko Belamaric has been familiar with the automotive industry for almost 20 years from a wide variety of functions in marketing, product management and dealer support, as Marketing Director of a well-known automotive brand, since 2015 as Sales Director of Hyundai Suisse and for more than two years in a dual function also as Country Manager of Hyundai Suisse.

Over the past ten years, Youcef Benachour has held various positions in the automotive industry, both in France and (since 2010) in Switzerland. His path led him from product management to management roles in customer service and marketing for well-known automotive brands to Hyundai Suisse just over a year ago.

Representation of 27 automotive brands
Bergé Auto, one of the leading automotive distributors in Europe and Latin America, focuses its activities on distribution, trading, financial services, logistics and mobility. With operations in five countries in Europe and in four markets in Latin America, Bergé Auto today represents 27 automotive brands and sold over 150,000 vehicles in 2018.
The entry into Switzerland represents a next step in the expansion strategy on European and international markets.
