Hyundai: Hydrogen trucks for Switzerland

A memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover. The Hyundai Fuel Cell Electric Truck is a 9.75 meter long 18-ton truck. Its electric motor produces 350 kW (476 hp) and delivers 3400 Newton meters of torque. Refueling with hydrogen is said to take seven minutes, and the range is said to be around 400 kilometers.
Environmentally friendly transport solutions
H2 Energy is a company specializing in the production and supply of renewable hydrogen with subsidiaries in Germany, Norway and Austria. H2 Energy intends to make its fuel cell vehicles available to its Swiss customers, such as the Swiss H2 Association, which includes several filling station operators, retailers and other companies focused on environmentally friendly transport solutions.
Commercial vehicles with alternative drive
Hyundai is one of the pioneers in fuel vehicles. As one of only a few manufacturers, the Koreans already offer hydrogen-powered cars with the ix35 Fuel Cell and the Nexo.
