After several years under the management of the Belgian Alcopa Group, Bergé Auto is the next Spanish company to set the next milestone for Hyundai's future in Switzerland. From April, BERSAN Automotive Switzerland AG - a Bergé Auto company - will be the new Swiss importer in charge of both sales and support for official distributors of Hyundai brand passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
International growth strategy
Bergé Auto belongs to Bergé & Compañía, one of the largest private companies in Spain, founded in 1870, and one of the leading automotive distributors in Europe and Latin America, focusing its activities on distribution, trade, financial services, logistics and mobility.
With operations in five countries in Europe and four markets in Latin America, Bergé Auto now represents 27 automotive brands and sold more than 150,000 vehicles in 2018 (an increase of 19% compared to 2017).
Opportunity for Hyundai Suisse
The entry into Switzerland represents a next step in the expansion strategy on the European and international markets.
