Honda: NT 1100 new as a two-cylinder tourer
With the NT 1100, Honda will soon be offering another tourer alongside the Gold Wing. Propulsion will be provided by the high-revving two-cylinder engine of the Africa Twin with 102 hp and 104 Newton meters of torque.
Standard travel-friendly features include a fairing with height- and angle-adjustable windshield, heated grips, cruise control, side panniers and main kickstand, as well as a USB port and 12-volt power outlet.
The tank of the NT 1100 holds 20.4 liters. There are five driving modes, two of which are individually programmable. The 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen is compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
With dual clutch transmission on request
As early as the end of December 2021, the NT1100 - which, like the Africa Twin enduro and the CMX 1100 Rebel cruiser, is also available with a DCT dual-clutch transmission (automatic gearshift) - will be available at Honda dealers.
The prices are also already fixed: the standard variant with a manually shiftable six-speed transmission will cost from 14,250 Swiss francs, and from 15,490 Swiss francs for the DCT version.
