This conference laid out the next steps for implementing the Paris Climate Agreement to accelerate the transition to sustainable, healthy as well as climate-friendly development.
Hydrogen one of the focal points
Hydrogen was a central focus at this two-week conference. Hydrogen-powered cars as well as buses were provided to transport visitors to the individual venues. As part of an "e-Shuttle" service, Honda provided two Clarity Fuel Cell vehicles for this purpose.
Design and technology
The Honda Clarity Fuel Cell is the world's most advanced fuel cell vehicle, according to the manufacturer. Its 103-kW fuel cell stack is small enough to fit under the hood instead of in the underbody area, creating a larger amount of space in the passenger compartment. The result is a fuel cell sedan that can comfortably seat five occupants.
Future prospects
Thanks to the impressive performance values of this vehicle in real-world conditions, according to the supplier, Honda will hold a series of presentation events in Europe in the near future. The arrival of the new Clarity Fuel Cell in Europe is a key part of Honda's "Electric Vision," which was unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
