The Civic Type R delivers a top speed of 272 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, according to the factory. It is powered by a 2.0-liter VTEC TURBO engine that delivers 320 hp with a maximum torque of 400 Nm to the road. Aerodynamics optimized
According to the supplier, recent changes to the body optimize the vehicle's aerodynamic properties. Like the Civic five-door and Civic sedan, the new Civic Type R comes standard with one of the most comprehensive safety packages in its class, including a collision warning system, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
