For higher speeds and for speedy cornering, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is equipped with reinforced body.
Range Rover, Audi e-tron, Jaguar I-Pace and now also the DS7 Crossback are soled with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV tire. As high-performance, purely electrically driven all-wheel drive models, they place high demands on the tires. Despite high torque, the tire has to guarantee corresponding mileage.
Short braking distance with Grip Booster Technology
One of the main features of the Asymmetric 3 SUV is its strength under braking. Thanks to Active Braking Technology, which increases the road contact area during braking, an optimally short braking distance is achieved on both dry and wet roads. Braking and grip during acceleration are additionally supported by the Grip Booster Technology tread compound.
For higher speeds and for speedy cornering, the tire is equipped with reinforced structure. The so-called Cool Cushion Layer improves handling and at the same time reduces rolling resistance, because the tire heats up less during the ride.
Sound Comfort technology reduces tire rolling noise
To keep tire rolling noise within limits, Audi has the tires equipped with Goodyear's Sound Com-fort technology. This can reduce the interior noise level by up to four decibels. The new tire type is available in many dimensions between 235/50 R 18 and 295/35 R 22.
