Following the cancellation of the Geneva International Motor Show, the organizers have decided to broadcast the award ceremony for the "Car of the Year" live on the website at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2. The award will be presented by Frank Janssen, president of the jury and automotive journalist for the German magazine Stern.

Seven candidates are up for selection for the "Car of the Year 2020" award. These include
- BMW 1 Series
- Ford Puma
- Peugeot 208
- Porsche Taycan
- Renault Clio
- Tesla Model 3
- Toyota Corolla
Frank Janssen will present the final round of voting and award the prize to the winner.

The jury members will award 25 points to at least five of the seven vehicles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Geneva International Motor Show website and on the Facebook page #GimsSwiss. This will allow interested parties to find out about the winner in real time.
New flagship of the 911 series
Porsche is kicking off the 2020 car year with a spectacular innovation: Following the cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show, the sports car manufacturer is presenting the new flagship of the 911 series at a virtual conference.
The live broadcast will take place at 10.10 a.m. on March 3. It will be hosted by ex-Formula 1 driver and Porsche brand ambassador Mark Webber and broadcast live on NewsTV.porsche.de.
