The Swiss Automotive Aftermarket Association is organizing the popular Drift Challenge again this year.
This year, Hall 7 will once again host a five-day trade fair and an exhibition for automotive suppliers. For the third time, the Swiss Automotive Aftermarket Association is co-organizing a short trade show in Hall 7 (March 7-11) - also known as the SAA Expo - as well as a trade show for auto suppliers throughout the duration of the Auto Show (March 7-17). 28 exhibitors have signed up.
The SAA is organizing the "Drift Challenge" again this year.
Long term fair of the supply industry
In the second part of Hall 7, the long-term exhibition of the supplier industry takes place. 18 exhibitors, including as always the company ESA, remain present for the full duration of the exhibition.
For the first time, the hall will be divided crosswise for these two fairs.
The entrance area will therefore move towards Palexpo from March 12. For logistical reasons, Hall 7 will open its doors half an hour earlier than usual, i.e. at 9.30 a.m. during the week and at 8.30 a.m. on weekends.
New concept for the exhibition from 2020
The Salon Committee, together with the main stakeholders of all interest groups in Hall 7, is in the process of working out an attractive concept for the exhibition in Hall 7 from 2020. President Maurice Turrettini: "We hope that this will do justice to the Swiss automotive industry, because we must not exclude this sector, which is so important for Switzerland. It should not be forgotten that the automotive industry has a total turnover of around 90 billion Swiss francs. One third of this is generated by Swiss garage businesses....
The entrance to Hall 7 is just a few meters from the SBB Geneva Airport train station: after leaving the station mall, simply follow the Palexpo signs.
