The compact five-seater produces 150 kW (204 hp) and has a range of up to 420 kilometers. The Seat el-Born (named after a trendy neighborhood in Barcelona) accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The vehicle is to be available for purchase as early as next year.
Aerodynamics takes center stage
The 62 kWh battery is to be recharged to 80 percent of its maximum capacity in less than 50 minutes. To enable the longest possible range, the developers placed particular emphasis on aerodynamics.
