The new model year, polished to a high gloss, is waiting in the halls of the Palexpo for car enthusiasts from Switzerland and nearby countries.

Brands such as Opel, DS, Infiniti and Chevrolet, as well as Cadillac, have decided not to participate in Geneva, at least this year. Cancellations by various manufacturers also surprised the organizers of the exhibitions on the Main and Seine. Not only the absent car manufacturers let it be known that they are increasingly interested in those fairs that are more trendy, such as the electronics trade fair CES in Las Vegas. The latter was able to record a 20 percent higher automotive presence this January than in the previous year.

Reasonable decision with a future for Geneva
The Geneva Motor Show wants to take advantage of this trend and is seeking a partnership with the European counterpart of the CES, the International Consumer Electronics Fair IFA Berlin. Certainly a very sensible decision with a future.

The Consumer Electronics Show is a Mecca for all electric freaks. The example is the show in CES in Las Vegas. The Geneva Motor Show would like to benefit from this.
