The road-legal 911 R (R = Racing), built in small series in 1967, was used in rallies, the Targa Florio and in world record races. Like its legendary predecessor, the new 911 R focuses on consistent lightweight construction, maximum performance and an unfiltered driving experience. With a total weight of 1370 kilograms fully fueled, the special model, limited to 991 units, is the lightest current 911 model. The 911 R's propulsion only ends at 323 km/h.
In Switzerland, the model is available from 231,200 Swiss francs. With the Porsche Swiss Package, the following options are available at no extra charge: black LED headlights including PDLS, auto-dimming interior mirrors with rain sensor, Sport Chrono Package including Precision App with device for the lap trigger, Tempostat, and Light Design Package. Customers also benefit from an extended warranty (2 + 2).
