Geneva 2016: Premium premieres at Volkswagen
The "ALLSTAR" special models from Volkswagen are making their debut in Switzerland and will be presented to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show (until March 13 at the Palexpo). The Polo, Golf, Golf Sportsvan, Golf Variant, Beetle, Beetle Cabriolet, Scirocco and Sharan are available as "ALLSTAR" models. Oliver Stegmann, Head of the Volkswagen brand: "The special models are characterized by extensive equipment packages. Under the motto 'Technology for everyone', we also offer our customers affordable additional equipment as well as modern driver assistance and multimedia systems. The sporty R-Line variants round off this range." The special models can be recognized by the door sills with "ALLSTAR" lettering and the "ALLSTAR" badge on the B-pillar and the fender. Standard features include Climatronic air conditioning, Park Pilot or Park Assist, Linas alloy wheels and a winter package. Price benefits and equipment packages vary depending on the model.
The Golf 2.0 TDI with 150 PS is clearly the economy champion
The "ALLSTAR" models are available with a maximum price advantage of up to 9410 francs (Golf ALLSTAR R-Line, 2.0 TDI 150 PS, 6-speed manual gearbox, regular price 42,510 francs, special model price 37,100 francs (customer advantage 5410 francs), minus "ALLSTAR" bonus 2000 francs, minus Golf bonus 2000 francs, actual price to be paid 33,100 francs, total price advantage 9410 francs. The "ALLSTAR" and Golf bonus promotion runs until April 30, 2016.
