Geneva 2016: Ateca is Seat's first SUV
World premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3 to 13 at Palexpo): Seat is presenting its first SUV. Already at the start of advance sales on the occasion of the Auto Salon, turbo engines are available as TSI gasoline engines and TDI diesels from 115 hp to 190 hp. Front-wheel drive, 4Drive four-wheel drive and manual or DSG dual-clutch transmissions are also available. Other features include full LED headlights, Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist and new-generation infotainment with an eight-inch touchscreen.
Incidentally, the Ateca got its name in Seat tradition from Spanish geography: The municipality of Ateca is located in the province of Zaragoza in the heart of the Iberian peninsula. The Seat Ateca will arrive at partners in Switzerland in the summer. Prices have not yet been fixed.
