Galliker Garage brings the customers to skidding
Garage Galliker AG is a family business with more than 300 dedicated employees. Twice a year, the multi-brand car dealership organizes the "G-Drive" driving and test training course at the Seelisberg Event Center for its customers. And this free of charge!
16 operations, eleven vehicle brands, 320 employees and 100 affiliated dealers: Garage Galliker AG (umbrella brand: Carplanet) is primarily active in the greater Aargau, Solothurn, Basel, Bern and Lucerne areas. The head office is located in Kriens. Today, the company, which has grown considerably over the last 20 years, primarily as a result of succession arrangements, trains 50 apprentices in a wide range of areas within the automotive industry. All aspects of claims management are handled by three large company-owned workshops in Bellach, Aarburg and Kriens. "For our customers, we create and maintain the joy of their cars and ensure their daily mobility," says Gabriel Galliker, second-generation member of the management board. And he didn't promise too much - the entertaining day at the Eventcenter Seelisberg under the supervision of experienced instructors flew by.
Testing cars in the perfect environment Daniel Schneller is also a member of the management team and jointly responsible for this customer event: "Over two weekends at the beginning and end of October, from Friday to Saturday, a total of 380 interested people were able to test drive our latest SUV and 4×4 models from all eleven brands at the limit and, for example, experience the driving assistance systems at the limit. Whether on the sliding surface slalom course, on the skid plate braking track or in tricky off-road conditions - everyone got their money's worth here." The 50 or so participants each day comprised 85 % from existing customers, and 15 % were sought out and approached via social media. Continuation guaranteed.
