VERY KNAPP AntĂłnio FĂ©lix da Costa snatches victory in Formula E in Cape Town on a Porsche. He overtook Jean-Eric Vergne shortly before the end and crossed the finish line in first place. SĂ©bastien Buemi also finished in the points.
With a fighting performance, the Portuguese fought his way forward from 12th place and finally secured victory (Gallery ) with a spirited overtaking maneuver on the penultimate lap. Jean-Eric Vergne (DS-Penske), the winner of the last race in Hyderabad, was beaten in the end and finished second.
Pole setter Sacha Fenestraz (Nissan) was in third place until one lap before the end, but then hit the track barrier and thus missed the chance for the first podium finish of his Formula E career. The beneficiary was Nick Cassidy (Envision), who thus finished third.
