Ford: Pro Electric Supervan produces 2000 hp 🎥
UP IT GOES Four electric motors, a liquid-cooled 50 kWh battery, and an output of around 1471 kW (2000 hp). The Pro Electric Supervan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds.
The super-fast van, which two-time Le Mans winner Romain Dumas piloted over the approximately 1.9-kilometer mountain track at a presentation in Goodwood, is equipped with an FIA-compliant interior.
Five driving programs can be selected via the touchscreen. They each define a different torque distribution to the four driven wheels and influence recuperation: Road, Track, Drag(ster), Drift and Rally.
The basis is the E-Transit Custom
The racetrack-ready chassis is based on the architecture of the recently unveiled static E-Transit Custom - the first all-electric version of Europe's best-selling van in its class. The new E-Transit Custom will also be launched in Switzerland next year.
Burnouts in Tyre Cleaning mode
For optimum thrust with the Pro Electric Supervan, the E-Boost calls up additional power for a limited time. The Electric Supervan's Tyre Cleaning mode is also unique. Thanks to this function, drive power can be allocated to either the front or rear axle only for burnouts to specifically clean and warm up the tires before competition use.
