And there are a few more numbers to please the Ford folks. According to anonymized data collected via the FordPass app, so far this year, drivers of a Kuga plug-in hybrid have traveled 49 percent of their routes using only charging power from a public or private source.

420,000 Driving days without emissions
The average daily driving distance was 52 kilometers, which is just below the WLTP range of 56 kilometers for the battery-electric Kuga PHEV. More than two-thirds of the journeys were short trips of 50 kilometers or less. And of the total of more than 633,000 driving days, more than 420,000 were locally emission-free, i.e. in electric mode.
