For Niki Hasler, the functionality of the new building has top priority: "We don't want to build a palace, but a functional, ergonomic, beautiful and simple building". The Basel-based architectural firm Diener & Diener was commissioned to design the building plans to meet these requirements. The roof terrace, for example, will have a Mediterranean style in keeping with the iconic Italian brand. The terrace parapet, for example, features a decorative perforation in the shape of the Ferrari coat of arms.
