This year, the Family Business Award will be presented for the seventh time. The following family businesses have been nominated as finalists from among more than 60 interested parties: 1a hunkeler fenster AG & 1a hunkeler holzbau AG, Ebikon, Balance Familie AG, Meisterschwanden, Bühler Electricité SA, Monthey.
Importance of Swiss Family Businesses
Amag created the Family Business Award in honor of its founder and patron Walter Haefner, who was committed to a genuine and lived corporate culture. Responsible and entrepreneurially sustainable family businesses from Switzerland are honored. The award also aims to draw attention to the economic importance of family businesses in Switzerland. A ten-member jury is responsible for selecting the winning company.
