Vehicle handover in Bern: 1 (from left): The Cerebral Foundation with Michael Harr, Managing Director, Nik Hartmann, Board of Trustees, Andreas Burgener, Board of Trustees, and Maya Greuter, Foundation President, receives the new fleet from AMAG, represented by Jost Eggenberger, Managing Director AMAG Retail, and Andreas Zuber, Managing Director AMAG Bern.

The foundation is now working with AMAG to renew its fleet of driving schools. For the mobility service provider, improving personal mobility and thus promoting freedom and independence - especially for people with a physical disability - is also very important.

Partner and sponsor
AMAG Schinznach-Bad is therefore supporting the foundation's "Driving School for Disabled People" program as a partner and sponsor. The new driving school fleet consists of six VW Caddy TGI BlueMotion vehicles that have been specially converted. The vehicles, which run on both natural gas and petrol, make a measurable contribution to the environment. In addition to the new vehicle fleet, AMAG is supporting the project with attractive conditions for maintenance, repairs, tires and cleaning. It provides the vehicles before each driving school assignment (refueling, preparation of special cases and cleaning). In addition, it offers discounted transport flat rates to other AMAG companies and ensures decentralized storage of the vehicles throughout Switzerland.

Joint offer
The joint driving school offer from the Cerebral Foundation and AMAG is also characterized by the fact that the driving instructors receive special training and complete a workshop in which they familiarize themselves with the technical conversion of the vehicle, among other things. This enables them to respond even better to the special needs of learner drivers. The Cerebral Foundation is the point of contact for those interested in driving lessons and provides the driving instructors. The new driving school caddies are now stationed at AMAG plants in Bern, Fribourg, Chur, Schinznach-Bad and Winterthur, where they are available to driving instructors.
