With its more than 62,000 roaming points, evpass is currently the most important European charging hub for electric vehicles. Evpass was launched in 2016 as Switzerland's first charging network with a clear focus on the user experience. Since 2019, evpass offers a flat-fee subscription worldwide.
Charging stations from Green Motion
Reasons for the success of the Vaud-based company include Green Motion's Swiss-made charging stations.
However, the decisive factor for the rapid growth is also the partnerships with important energy companies and owners of localities that could be used as locations for charging stations. Already today, many industrial service providers in Switzerland have a partnership with evpass.
Strong growth in the Zurich region
The Zurich network has now grown to 120 charging stations, which are available at Parking Zürich AG, Amag Parking, Accor Group hotels, the Marriott and the Hyatt, among others. Companies ranging from retailers to banks, electrical companies and other hotel chains have also joined evpass.

Car including household charging station
Several automakers are also participating in the e-mobility boom. For example, Honda, in cooperation with Green Motion, includes a household charging station from Green Motion with the purchase of the all-electric Honda e model. Currently, around 35 percent of all owners of new electric vehicles leave their car dealer with an evpass card.
Network with focus on user convenience
Evpass has consistently placed user convenience at the center of its developments from the very beginning. In doing so, the company has a clear mission: to connect Switzerland with selected charging points on roads and in residential areas. The charging stations are to be easy to operate and equipped with integrated cables and sockets suitable for all types of electric vehicles.
The right infrastructure in the right places
The structure of the network was designed to provide the right infrastructure in the right places: regular (non-fast-charging) charging stations in urban or suburban areas and close to where people live.

Cooperation with Harley-Davidson
With fixed-price subscriptions that include an unlimited number of recharges, evpass is simplifying the lives of its users with an innovative measure. The Anytime, Day, or Night packages allow users who do not have their own charging station at home to use the network, especially at night.
Thanks to the cooperation with Harley-Davidson, evpass is now also successfully positioning itself in the two-wheeler sector: evpass is the first charging network that also invites motorcyclists to charge their electric motorcycles at the charging stations.
