As Switzerland's largest car rental company, Europcar has more than 90 stations. Since June 1, 2016, vehicles can now also be rented in Bellinzona: In the station building "Palazzo Stazione" at Piazza Stazione 1 operates a base, where all vehicles from the range can be rented. Following the recent opening of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the station in Bellinzona symbolizes the new "gateway to Ticino". With the realization of the tunnel, the travel time from Zurich to Ticino will be reduced by around 25 minutes. The new Europcar location is thus the perfect starting point for discovering Switzerland's sunny region with a rental car.
