In Germany, just under 900 stations are currently operating with natural gas and biomethane. And the Volkswagen Group has announced plans to work with partners to expand the network in Germany to around 2,000 stations.

Silently switch to gasoline mode
All passenger cars with CNG drive systems available in Switzerland are bivalent. This means that they can run on natural gas and biogas as well as gasoline. When the natural gas tank is empty, the drive automatically switches to gasoline operation - without the driver noticing.
