The small Italian received the full ten points for emissions, energy efficiency and greenhouse gases.
The consumer protection organization praised the fact that the battery's energy efficiency is significantly better than that of many other electric cars. There was criticism of the standard charging cable, which charges only very slowly and thus ineffectively.
Good performance for Honda and Peugeot
The two internal combustion engines also performed well. NCAP gave both of them a good score ("perform well"). Both the Honda Jazz 1.5 Hybrid and the Peugeot 208 Blue HDi 100 scored a combined seven out of ten efficiency points.
The Honda performed slightly better than the Peugeot in terms of pollutants and greenhouse gases. In particular, it emits only very small amounts of methane and nitrogen monoxide (N2O). The bottom line was three and a half stars for the Japanese and three for the French.
