Special junior courses also allow eleven- to 17-year-olds to get behind the wheel. Another attraction on the program is racing cabs - in a Jaguar XE SV Project 8 or XJR575, the co-pilot takes a trip around the legendary Nordschleife.
Safety & Handling Competence
Jaguar owners can optimize their skills behind the wheel in three stages at the Jaguar Driving Academy. In 2019, the training courses will run under Safety & Handling Competence, Track Competence and Race Competence. Those who wish can also compete with their own vehicle if its engine power and performance are also suitable for the course. For the first level of difficulty, Jaguar uses driving safety centers and handling circuits on four dates; for two Track Competence dates, the Nürburgring GP circuit and the Bilster Berg Driving Resort serve as test areas. As a highlight, one-and-a-half-day Race Competence courses are held on the Nordschleife in June and September, featuring high-performance versions of the Jaguar F-Type.
Courses for children and teenagers
Following the success of the driving experience for children and young people at the IAA 2017, the Driving Academy is again offering 90-minute First Drive Competence training sessions for adolescents aged eleven to 17 on six dates this year. The only prerequisites: Interested parties must be at least 1.42 meters tall and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
