A new limited Track Edition also brings motorsport to the road: improved aerodynamics, less weight, an optimized chassis and fresh design lift the high-performance coupe to a new level of performance.
Maximum torque of 520 Nm
The 5.0-liter eight-cylinder naturally aspirated engine now delivers 463 hp. It loses 14 hp compared with its predecessor due to the changeover to the new emissions standard and the gasoline particulate filter. Maximum torque of 520 Newton meters is available at 4800 rpm. A revised intake system improves response at low engine speeds. Power transmission is handled by the familiar 8-speed sports automatic, which has a higher gear ratio in the last gear. The Coupé reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.5 seconds.
Roof and hood made of lightweight material
In the Track Edition, aerodynamics have been optimized with a front apron and a fixed rear wing made of carbon fiber, while an active spoiler at the rear is available on request for the regular RC F. The roof and hood are also made of the lightweight material, as are the partition behind the rear seats and the bumper reinforcements.
Swiss market launch planned for May
Two exterior colors are available for the Track Edition: Ultra White and the matte Basalt Gray, which is reserved exclusively for the top model. Production of the Lexus RC F will start in March 2019. Swiss prices will be announced at a later date.
