Seat combination each as required
Inside, the Nissan IMs Concept features a unique 2+1-2 seating layout: the front seats swivel, while the rear row either offers space for three passengers or converts into an exclusive and comfortable single seat by folding away the narrow side seats.
Constant monitoring of the driver
Whether the IMs Concept is driving in manual or autonomous mode, the driver is monitored. If cameras and sensors detect by facial expression and seat posture that he or she should no longer be able to control the car, and if necessary, measures are initiated to stop the vehicle in a safe and controlled manner.
