The visual changes to the SUV, which is available as a five- and seven-seater, include the wider radiator grille and the new design of the bumper. The daytime running lights and the now rectangular fog lights have also been revised. The LED light motif on the taillights is also new. The visual finishing touches are rounded off by an expanded color palette with four new shades.
Interior renovated
Inside, Nissan says the new steering wheel, which is flattened at the bottom, makes it easier to get in and out of the car, offers a better view of the instruments and, with four-way buttons, is easier to operate. For the first time, the steering wheel is also available with heating. There are also various storage options, sliding and tilt-adjustable second-row seats and other practical solutions. Trunk capacity has increased from 550 to 565 liters in the five-seat version. With the seats folded down, the load volume is up to 1996 liters.
Modern assistants
New on board are Emergency Brake Assist with pedestrian detection and a cross-traffic warning system that reduces the risk of accidents when reversing slowly. Next year will see the arrival of the ProPILOT autonomous driving system, which will enable automatic control of steering, accelerator pedal and brakes in single-lane highway traffic, in convoy traffic and in traffic jams.
Three engines
The powertrain range continues to comprise three engines, including the 2.0-liter dCi diesel engine with 130 kW/177 hp launched just last winter. In addition, a 1.6-liter diesel engine with 96 kW/130 hp and a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 120 kW/163 hp are available.
