Opel is launching no fewer than seven new vehicles this year alone as part of the company's biggest model initiative. Each "family member" is unique in its own right and appeals to a very specific clientele. The Mokka X was the first "X-Tra" model - i.e. with the X in its name. It is a real success story for Opel, with more than 750,000 orders to date. The adaptive all-wheel drive system is also available as an option - a strength of the compact SUV that has already earned it the title of "All-Wheel Drive Car of the Year" twice. The Mokka X 1.6 l ECOTEC is available from CHF 20,200 (list price CHF 22,700 minus Flex premium of currently CHF 2,500).
Crossland X: the practical one
The new Crossland X, which has been available to order since recently, complements the portfolio of all-rounders in the SUV B segment. With its two-tone paint finish and SUV look on the outside, the Crossland X is spacious and variable on the inside. At just 4.21 meters in length, it offers space for up to five people and, thanks to rear seats that can be moved lengthwise by up to 150 millimeters, a trunk volume of 410 to 520 liters. If the rear seats are folded down completely, the load volume can be increased to a full 1255 liters. The Enjoy model version with 1.2 l engine 60 kW/81 hp, 5-speed manual transmission, can be ordered immediately at a price starting at CHF 21,800 (UPE incl. VAT). Three gasoline engines with 81 hp, 110 hp and 130 hp and two diesels with a power range of 99 hp and 120 hp are available for the Crossland X. The first vehicles in the Enjoy and Excellence model versions will arrive at dealerships in Switzerland at the end of June 2017.
Grandland X: Sporty and elegant
According to the manufacturer, the short body overhangs of the 4.48-meter-long Grandland X result in elegant proportions. Up to 1652 liters of luggage can fit in the trunk. The Opel Grandland X can be ordered from July 2017. The first vehicles will arrive at dealerships in mid-October 2017.
